Who we are

InnovationAnswers.app is an innovation decision-support service, with content curated by Gijs van Wulfen.

The data controller for the personal data described below is NZQ Innovation Consultancy (a trade name registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce, KvK no. 68627246, VAT NL002390475B10), Lange Hezelstraat 83B, Nijmegen, the Netherlands. What data we collect

• Account data: your email address, used to sign you in through a secure magic link.
• Optional profile data: details you choose to give us, such as your role or country.
• Usage data: the questions you ask and the answers generated, so we can provide the service, keep it reliable, and apply fair-use limits.
• Technical data: IP address, browser and device information, and similar log data, plus the essential local storage needed to keep you signed in.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

• To provide the service and authenticate you (performance of a contract).
• To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and enforce usage and cost limits (legitimate interest).
• To send you the sign-in email you request and essential service messages (your request and contract).
• To improve answer quality. We minimise the data used and we never sell your personal data (legitimate interest).

Who processes your data

We use trusted providers to run the service:

• Supabase for database, authentication, and hosting.
• Vercel for website hosting and delivery.
• Anthropic (Claude) to generate answers, and Voyage AI for search and embeddings.
• Resend for sending your sign-in link and essential service emails.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States, under appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. The text of your question may be sent to our AI providers to generate an answer. Where the option is available, we instruct providers not to use your content to train their models.

How long we keep it

We keep your account data while your account is active. When you ask us to delete your account, or after a prolonged period of inactivity, we delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period. Usage logs are kept only as long as needed for the purposes above.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email hello@innovationanswers.app. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In the Netherlands this is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Cookies and local storage

We use only the essential cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and to secure the service. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Children

The service is intended for professionals and is not directed at children under 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. The date at the top shows the most recent update, and we will communicate material changes.
